Looks like youth can outdo their elders in drinking as well as in some other things as proclaimed on this relief pitcher only marked "1621" ca. early 1900's.
Schon die guten alten Deutschen tranken manchen Humpen leer, doch die lieben jungen Deutschen trinken noch bedeutend mehr.	While the good old Germans drank many steins empty, the dear young Germans drink still notably more.
