The stein without lid is marked with the post 1954 Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur (Sitzendorf Porcelain Manufactory) mark. The verse is a Bayrisch (Bavarian dialect) version of "Schön sind wir nicht aber durstig" that can be found also on this site.
Schön san ma nett, aber durstig	Beautiful am I not, but thristy.
